KOE Americas, Inc. firmly believes in the importance of being a good corporate citizen and to have a positive influence on the communities in which its employees work and live. One way KOE Americas accomplishes this is through our Community Action Committee (CAC). Community Action Committee (CAC) Our Community Action Committee (CAC) is composed of a group of employees from all levels of the organization that volunteer their time and serve on the committee. These employees facilitate community involvement by identifying critical needs in our local community and then making recommendations designed to promote employee awareness and encourage active involvement that makes a difference. Whether it is by providing cash grants to support a non-profit organization, participating in fundraisers, volunteering their services, or providing in-kind donations such as computers equipment or other items; our employees work together to improve the quality of life in our community . CAC Activities Some of the non-profit organizations that we have partnered with include American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association, Shriners Hospital for Children, as well as other local non-profit organizations that are focused on helping young children overcome various obstacles. Our organization has been involved with Relay for life, Tour De Cure; and most recently providing School Supplies for children involved with the Building Dreams Program, which is a local non-profit organization that provides support to children who have one or more incarcerated parents. This year our employees donated close to 2,000 lbs of food to be distributed throughout the community through local food banks. |
